The 24x32 format enhances the illusion of scale, making the foreground driftwood appear monumental in relation to the distant, wave-worn branches. Highlights along the water’s edge draw the viewer’s eye into depth, while the dark, textured shadows of the weathered stump anchor the scene with weight and presence, creating a dynamic tension between near and far.

The interplay of textured highlights and stark shadows in this image creates a compelling visual tension. The sunlight spilling across the pier enhances the wood’s grain and guides the eye toward the horizon, while the deep shadows in the railings add a sense of structure and depth. This contrast not only emphasizes the geometry of the scene but also heightens its drama, giving the composition both a tactile presence and a luminous atmosphere.

"Infrared Courtyard" canvas print presents an intriguing artistic concept with its use of infrared light, which creates a surreal, otherworldly effect.  The arrangement of the statues and the checkered floor suggests a chessboard adding a layer of symbolic depth.

Art’s appeal is inherently subjective,
shaped by individual tastes and contexts.

This
32 x 42 infrared canvas print showcases a striking transformation of a natural landscape, with the tree and surrounding vegetation rendered in surreal tones. The reflective water adds depth and symmetry, while the painterly texture aligns with fine art sensibilities.
Picture
Captured on Konica Infrared 750 film, this black-and-white print reveals the unseen light of a garden landscape. The glowing vegetation by infrared’s spectral reach, contrasts with the dark sculptures perched along the stone terrace. Flowing water, layered rocks, and luminous grasses guide the eye inward, balancing organic forms with structural lines. The result is a surreal vision that transforms the ordinary into a meditation on light and shadow.

Robyn’s Wildflowers

32 x 48 canvas
This piece has a beautiful emotional depth because of its personal story—wildflowers gathered with love and a handmade bowl offered with care. The digital rendering enhances that intimacy by softening details and creating a painterly, timeless quality. The tall, arching grasses balance gracefully against the more compact cluster of greens and purples, giving the composition an airy verticality. Light plays a key role, bathing the arrangement in warmth. It’s at once a keepsake, an artwork, and a reflection of love.

The little clay figures were first discovered at the bottom of my fish fountain. I had drained the water to make a wicking pond, and there it was.  I still don’t know who might have placed it there, knowing I would someday find it, but I know it was there a very long time.  I set it out in the sun to dry, and when I returned a few days later, the green moss that once covered it had turned pale and white, giving the figures a ghostly, weathered presence.
The circular arrangement of the figures, arms interlocked, creates both a literal and symbolic unity. The aged texture, with its weathered surface and the ghostly white moss, adds a haunting sense of time passing.

This canvas print from the Moving Stills collection carries a quiet, contemplative mood.
The interplay between the glowing orb and the delicate foliage creates a painterly effect, as if the scene were brushed in oils. The leaves catch just enough illumination to suggest texture and depth, while the darker background allows the light to stand as both subject and atmosphere. The piece works well on canvas because its softened edges and subdued tones invite the viewer into a timeless, meditative space. It balances natural form with a sense of dreamlike stillness.

This 32 x 42 canvas presents a schooner emerging from soft fog, its form reduced to essential lines and muted shapes. The composition leans on restraint—vast negative space envelops the vessel, amplifying its solitude and quiet presence. Tonality is subtle and atmospheric, with a delicate gradient of grays that dissolve into near-white, evoking stillness and timelessness. The piece achieves balance through minimal detail.

The canvas captures the haunting beauty of a solitary tree standing against the tide, its bare branches etched starkly against a muted sky. Both fragile and resilient, it speaks to endurance, transience, and the quiet poetry of nature stripped to its essence. The minimal tones and open space invite reflection, making it as much a meditation as an image.

A delicate study of roses in soft, natural light. The painterly treatment transforms a simple vase arrangement into something timeless, emphasizing the gentle textures of petals against the smooth background. The composition balances vertical strength with the organic flow of leaves, while the muted tones enhance the warmth and intimacy of the subject. A quiet yet elegant piece that celebrates stillness.

"Spoonbills Santa Fe River," This canvas print conveys a classic fine art landscape. The composition effectively captures the serenity of sunset, with vibrant hues of orange, purple, and green creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. The reflection of the sky and trees in the water adds depth and symmetry, enhancing the visual harmony. The use of light, with the sun's glow filtering through the foliage, lends a dreamy, ethereal quality- the hallmark of the classic fine art landscape.

The weathered seashell is rendered with a textured sculptural quality. This adds depth and a tactile sense, which is a strong point in still life art, traditionally focused on the interplay of light, texture, and form. The high key palette enhances the focus on the shell's intricate details and the subtle cracks, evoking themes of fragility and decay, common in still life to symbolize the passage of time. The 32 x 42 canvas size suggests a bold scale.
